A North Carolina native, born and raised in Raleigh, NC.  I graduated from Appalachian State University in December of 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Geography with a concentration in GIS and minor in General Business. The decision to attend Appalachian State was made because of my passion and early exposure to various outdoor activities. My interest in geography began at a young age as I found myself enthralled by the idea of location and the different attributes that create the identity of a place. Once I began taking geography courses my interests were tailored more specifically to Geographic Information Systems, Cartographic Design, and climate change. I am fascinated by the continual advancement of Geographic Information Technologies. With the mapping design knowledge, and analytical skills acquired while studying at Appalachian, I plan to pursue a career within the field of Geographic Information Systems software sales.
